Nature's Model
BIO-TRANSFORMED ® Vitamins and Minerals are produced with the help of Nature itself in the form of living Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, which ferment a nutritional media containing the specific nutrient to be produced. The yeast cells interact with nutrients in the media in a way similar to the way beneficial micro-organisms in soil interact with soil nutrients, "building" them into a more utilizable food matrix. This is the living-cell process Nature uses for optimization of plant nutrition by transforming inorganic micronutrients into more available forms. 

Vegetarian 
BIO-TRANSFORMED ® Vitamins and Minerals contain NO ingredients derived from animals with one exception. The USP vitamin D-3 we start with is produced from lipids removed from sheep's wool. There is no other commercially available source for us to use, but fortunately sheep do not die to give up their wool. 

Cruelty Free
Although performing human and in-vitro studies on its products, Bio-Foods has not tested its products on animals. 

Free of Preservatives
All purchased ingredients are specified to contain no preservatives, and Bio-Foods does not use any preservatives. 

No Food Isolates 
Bio-Foods does not use food isolates such as modified starch, isolated soy protein, lactose, or gelatin in any of its BIO-TRANSFORMED ® Vitamins and Minerals.
